This book was definitely a good read! If you are looking for a way and ideas on how to reach out to your community, this is a must.

Shauna Pilgreen does a delightful job of dispersing stories of her and her husband’s own journey’s as they sought to bring a light to their cities. From outreach, hospitality and ministry to discipleship and beyond, this book walks you through the authors journey, as well as gives you pointers and encouragement in your own journey.

A great encouragement to take the Savior’s commission seriously and how to implement that in your everyday life. It doesn’t always look like walking the street and declaring the gospel at the top of your lungs. From sharing pizza with neighbors, inviting people to your church, and sharing warm food and a hug with shut-ins, Shauna talks about allowing God to use you in your neighborhood and what that looks like from a practical perspective.

If you are looking for ways to reach out on a greater level or would like some encouragement in practical backdoor missions, I would highly recommend this book.

By God’s Grace,
