I apologize that this post ended up a little late. But Happy Easter!
Leading up to Easter our family usually reads the accounts of The Last Supper, The Garden of Gethsemane, The Crucifixion, and Resurrection. We did a cool study this year where we read the scripture and then a short devotional that went with it afterwards each day for the week leading up to Easter Sunday. Sunday morning for my devotions I read several accounts in one sitting. By far, my favorite moment is when Jesus died and the earth shook and the curtain blocking off the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple was torn from top to bottom. The beautiful imagery of this gets me every time. When Jesus died and took our place in eternal death, He opened up a way for us to be able to commune with our Father in heaven. One day face to face. The symbol of the curtain being torn was so beautiful. It blocked off the part of the temple where the Lord resided. No one was to go in there except for the High Priest once a year to make the Passover sacrifice. You stepped foot in there otherwise and you immediately died, because you were sinful and unworthy to be in the Lord’s presence. When Jesus died under the weight of our sins, it allowed us to be able to reside in the presence of God without the guilt and shame. It not only allowed us to commune with God, it allowed Him to reside in us in the form of the Holy Spirit. In awe of the sacrifice and the gift He has given us. Hallelujah! He Is Risen! Because he stepped from death and the grave, we can now leave them behind as well and spend eternity with the Lord. Happy Easter All!

I loved this skirt! I have honestly been wanting one this color for several years! I finally found one! I had to sew up a slit on one side, but it was full enough to compensate for it and I love it so much! Can I just make mention of the fact that it was warm enough for me to not wear a jacket or sweater? I brought the cardigan with me to the family Easter party we attended, but I didn’t wear it till later in the evening when we were on the way home. I was really warm. Spring has finally arrived in Michigan and I am so thrilled! I also really liked my nails, I used my floral Jamberry nails on my ring fingers and painted the rest a contrasting pink. They felt so spring like.
How was your Easter? Blessings to you!

Cute! I love the maxi skirt!
Do you curl your hair?
Thank you so much! In answer to your question, I sort of curled it that day. LOL. I washed it the day before and when it was damp braided it for the night. When I woke up in the morning and took out my braid, I had really nice waves so I just touched up a few with my curling wand, but otherwise it was from the braid.
I LOVE that skirt! It is such a pretty style and looks really good on you! Also, those earrings are just so elegant! I love your whole look, actually. 🙂
