There is this big thing in our family. No one listens to or is aloud to sing Christmas Music until after Thanksgiving. Some uphold this more strictly than others. 
It is more of a joke than anything else, but it has created a special time of year where we can binge listen to Christmas music unashamedly and it gave us a better sense of enjoyment for the music because we only listen to it for 1 month out of the year.
